Regulatory information
Who regulates us, how you are protected, and what to do if you are unhappy with our service.
1. Who we are

3. Professional indemnity insurance
Scottish solicitors in private practice are required to hold professional indemnity insurance through the Law Society of Scotland's Master Policy. Details are available on request.
4. If you are unhappy with our service
We want to get things right. If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please tell the lawyer dealing with your case first. If that does not resolve it, you can make a formal complaint in writing to our client relations manager at the address above or by email to info@kineticlawyers.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint and explain how we will deal with it.
Scottish Legal Complaints Commission
If you are still not satisfied once our complaints process has finished, you can take your complaint to the Scottish Legal Complaints Commission (SLCC), the independent body that deals with complaints about lawyers in Scotland. There are time limits for doing so.
Visit scottishlegalcomplaints.org.uk for details of how to complain.
5. Courts
We act in claims in the Scottish courts, including the sheriff courts, the All-Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury Court and the Court of Session. Where a case needs representation in a higher court, we will instruct counsel and explain this to you first.
